What the plug-in does on your Mac
MacBookmark runs locally inside Adobe Acrobat DC. It processes PDFs you open on your computer. Document contents are not uploaded to our servers by the plug-in.
License & updates
Activation may use a license key you enter. Optional update checks fetch a public version.json from our site (version number and download URL only). Optional team/cloud license checks, if enabled later, only send the license identifier—not your PDFs.
Website & orders
Orders and invoices may include company name, billing address, and VAT/BTW number for legal invoicing in Belgium/EU.
If you email an order or support request, we process your name, email, and message to fulfill the license. We do not sell personal data. Payment processors (when added) will have their own privacy terms.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Netlify. Their logs may include standard web request data (IP, user agent) per their policies.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of order/support data by emailing us. For EU/EEA users, GDPR rights apply where relevant.
